Who we are

What we collect

When you use the signup form on this site, we collect: your first name; your last name, if you choose to give it; your email address; your organisation, if you choose to give it; the interests you tick (platform launch updates, the community share offer, the Show Me The Money newsletter, or any combination); the exact wording of the consent you gave and the time you gave it; and some technical data collected automatically, such as your browser's user agent and the page that referred you here. If you ask for a demo, we keep a separate record of that request with the same details, so we can contact you to arrange it.

Seghu is a hibretOne product, and its website, seghu.org, has the same signup form. Signups from both sites are kept together, with a note of which site you used, so we do not email you twice.

Why we collect it

We use this data to send you launch updates about Seghu, 1001Trades and ScaleupKickstarter, and the Show Me The Money newsletter, mailed separately according to the interests you chose. If you tick the community share offer interest, we use it to keep you informed about that offer. If you ask for a demo, we use your details only to contact you and arrange it.

Our lawful basis

We rely on your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time, either by using the unsubscribe link in any email we send you or by emailing us at info@hibretone.org.

How long we keep it

We keep your data until you unsubscribe. After that, we keep a suppression record (your email address and the fact that you opted out) so that we do not email you again by mistake. We keep a demo request for as long as it takes to arrange and follow up on the demo, then delete it.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run this website. They act only on our instructions and do not use your details for anything else:

• a database provider, which stores your signup or demo request securely on servers in the European Union;
• the email and contact system we use to send you the emails you signed up for; and
• our website host, which delivers this site to your browser.

Inside hibretOne CIC, your details are seen only by the small team who send our emails and arrange demos. We never share them with anyone else for their own use.

Where any of these providers transfer your data outside the UK, that transfer is covered by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or a UK adequacy decision.

The accessibility toolbar

This site offers the Sienna accessibility widget. It is self-hosted: it stores your display preferences (such as text size and contrast) in your own browser only, and it sends nothing to us.

Analytics

We use privacy-first, cookieless analytics. It does not identify you, and we do not use any advertising trackers.

Automated decision-making

We do not use your data for automated decision-making.

We do not sell personal data

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to anyone.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data erased;
• restrict how we use your data;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• object to how we use your data; and
• withdraw your consent at any time.

Eventbrite

Registrations for the Seghu launch event happen on Eventbrite, not on this site. Any information you give when registering is handled under Eventbrite's own privacy notice.
