Accessibility statement

Last updated: 7 September 2026

hibretOne CIC is committed to making this website accessible to everyone, including disabled visitors.

Scope of this statement

This statement applies only to hibretone.org, the hibretOne holding page. Seghu, Business Builder and ScaleupKickstarter are separate products with their own accessibility statements.

Conformance status

The standard we target is WCAG 2.2 level AA. This website is built to WCAG 2.2 AA and independently tested.

Known issues

  • [no known non-conformances recorded yet; testing in progress, remediation date to be confirmed]

Most recent test

Technologies relied upon

This website relies on the following technologies to work with the assistive technology you may use:

  • HTML
  • CSS
  • JavaScript
  • WAI-ARIA

What we did

  • Semantic landmarks and a single h1 per page.
  • A skip link straight to the main content.
  • Full keyboard operability, with nothing reachable only by mouse.
  • Visible focus states on every interactive element.
  • Text contrast of at least 4.5:1.
  • Touch targets sized for easy tapping.
  • Alt text written by hand for every meaningful image.
  • Captions and a transcript for our film.
  • A logo carousel that can be paused, and that becomes a static grid when reduced motion is set.
  • Forms with visible labels and clearly described errors.
  • A layout that stays usable at 400% zoom.
  • Respect for your prefers-reduced-motion setting throughout the site.

The accessibility toolbar

We provide the Sienna accessibility toolbar, a self-hosted, open-source assistive toolbar, so you can adjust text size, contrast and spacing, and have content read aloud. It is an assistive convenience: conformance is delivered by the underlying build, not by the toolbar. The toolbar stores your preferences in your own browser only.

Reporting problems

If you find an accessibility problem on this site, email info@hibretone.org with the page you were on and the problem you found. We aim to reply within five working days.

Enforcement

In the UK, the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) enforces the Equality Act 2010. If you are not happy with how we respond to your complaint, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
